The Biggest & Brightest MYBIA Event Yet!

Our first-ever summer street festival overflowed with the heart and soul of our community. Local artists dazzled, vendors delighted, and the streets pulsed with the rhythm of joy. This was more than an event; it was a celebration of all that makes our community special.

 

We took over Yonge St. between Key Gardner Beltline and Soudan Ave, with a bustling hub on Lola Rd on Saturday, July 20th 2024, from 12 PM to 7 PM for a day packed with music, food, shopping, and fun for all ages. MYBIA is proud to host this annual celebration of our diverse neighbourhood, showcasing local talent, businesses, and the joy of coming together.

MYBIA Tent:
Your Community Connection

The MYBIA Tent offered our visitors an opportunity to discover the heart of our neighborhood!

  • Learn: how MYBIA is working to strengthen our community and support local businesses.

  • Win: awesome prizes and freebies (who doesn't love free stuff?).

  • Share: feedback and ideas – we loved hearing what YOU want to see in the future!

Kids' Tent:
Where Imagination Comes to Life

A world of colour and creativity, where kids and families could:

  • Get their faces painted: Transform into a butterfly, superhero, or their favorite animal.

  • Twist and shout for balloons: balloon artists created amazing creatures right before their eyes.

All activities in the Kids' Tent were FREE – because smiles are priceless!

Cotton Candy Tent:
A Sweet Escape

Visitors got to indulge their sweet tooth at our Cotton Candy Tent!

  • Free and fluffy: a complimentary cloud of sugary goodness, spun fresh just for you.

  • Perfect for sharing: treats for everyone.

  • Instagram-worthy: snaping pics with colorful cotton candy creations and tagging us @MYBIA.CA!

We want to express our sincerest appreciation to the City of Toronto, the Government of Canada, and FedDev Ontario for their generous support as funding partners for this event.
